Body Potlik is made to order, literally. Being an organic fashion label, the brand uses sustainable fabrics as the design structure. Launched in 2008 by designer Onisha Espada, the functioning cut and sew operation peaked interest in a recent showcase of eight designers, including the latest from Vashtie Kola. Working backstage and on stage during the fashion showcase, I was able to speak to the designer about the recent collection and the fabrics used. Lets just say, the structure and quality of work gained Body Potlik LOS’s “Brand To Watch For” title. With minimal concepts and the use of fun colors, the spring/summer favorites are sure to waltz their way in the closets of fashion forward street stompers.
