STYLE WITH BRADITUDE

5 Comments 15 January 2012 | By

I’m sure almost every fashionista on earth was tuned into Bravo’s second season of The Rachel Zoe Project starring celebrity stylist, Rachel Zoe and her styling assistants, Taylor Jacobson and Brad Goreski.  Of course you know that Rachel and Brad parted ways (and that’s why Brad did not appear on season four).  Now “Mr. debonair” has his very own  fashion series, It’s a Brad Brad World, airing on Bravo Monday nights.  I know it’s only into the first two episodes but I found Brad much more intriguing on The Rachel Zoe Project with his sassy “Braditude” and  flamboyant  geek-chic style.  The dynamic duo had a certain chemistry that lit the screen and will be truly missed.

It’s a Brad Brad World is a great reality show for anyone that’s considering breaking into the fashion industry.  Although it seems like Brad’s life is pretty glamorous from the outside, he gives his viewers an eye and ear full of the not so glamorous side of trying to make it in the “big bad fashion world”. From getting turned down for the job styling Diane Lane; working out of his garage; having to pack FedEx boxes after his Paper Mag photo shoot because his assistant failed to do so; to whimpering to his boyfriend, Gary Janetti about not having enough work… He proves that though he has made a name for himself by shadowing Rachel Zoe in his signature bow ties, even he has to work hard to get to the top and stay there.

Brad admits “looking cute does not pay the bills.”  He stated “I need to be getting people ready for the red carpet, not walking the red carpet.”  Speaking of the red carpet, that Versace gown he styled Keri Hilson in for the Met Ball was stunning!  He’s going to need a lot more styling jobs to keep the lights on in that beautiful Hollywood Hills home of his.

Tune in with us Monday nights and let us know what you think!

They say T.V can either make or break your career. Brad is truly a talented stylist, but his show is a poor attempt at entertaining the audience with his boring life. There were several times last night during the second episode that I fell asleep with my eyes open. Now he has the audacity to write a book about himself??? Talk about the 5 mins of fame going to your head! Rachel Zoe’s show was interesting because it focused on the hard work of the industry and her day to day life. Her personality was a natural compliment to her work. She wasnt trying to be the focal point of every scene, but just being natural. You can always tell when something is forced or not genuine. A Brad Brad World was someone’s poor idea of capitalizing on the controversy between Zoe & Brad, whereas Rachel did her show for the right reasons and that is why it comes across more interesting and genuine.

Sorry Brad :( Hopefully the show doesnt have an adverse effect on your styling career.

I absolutely loved the chemistry between Brad and Rachel TOGETHER, but this show lacks all of the interesting and entertaining components to keep me tuned in…I would say it’s a fail…. I wanna see more fashion and
    less of Brad’s bio-epic

Brad Goreski just may have “redeemed himself” on Good Morning America today discussing his take on the SAG Awards red carpet fashion with Robin Roberts. If Brad would stick to more fashion on “It’s a Brad Brad World” the show would be a no brainer. Listen up, Brad!

  5. I have to agree with you, I did love the relationship between Rachel Zoe and Brad and I’ve watched one episode of his show and it’s great! Any fashion show is a friend of mine =)
