The first thing you notice about her is the bee-stung lips or the trend-setting gap in her teeth; trend-setting, because after her just about every other model had a gap in their teeth. Well, maybe if you met her in person it would be her Amazonian height first. Either way, it’s really hard to imagine Lindsey Wixson as an 18 year old, because she’s pretty extraordinary. Not many 18  year olds can happily put on their resumé that they’ve done catwalk shows for the likes of Chanel, Alexander McQueen and Miu Miu. Lindsey is a whole different definition of beauty that sets her aside from other models; she doesn’t have that standard European beauty that most designers would’ve sought pre-Wixson era, but a sense of character and uniqueness that can’t be emulated through makeup or dress. She’s essentially a symbol of modern day, reformed beauty.
